Mojave Desert Vertical or Horizontal?

How do you know if your images should be made vertical or horizontal? While in the Mojave Desert last week I made some images with my phone.

Its a still quite place, full of harsh beauty.
The answer is... it doesent matter. Create the image the way you like it. Here I like the horizontal a bit more.
Now for a tip. Shoot both and you can also decide later. I do this often for you all here at Droid Photo LIFE to illustrate photography points. Mark
